Edge is now the default web browser in Windows 10 and the search engine defaults to Microsoft’s Bing. If you want to change it to use Google’s search just follow these simple steps.

1) Open Edge and open page www.google.co.uk

2) Click the ellipses in top right of the Edge window and click “Settings”

Set Edge to use Google Search 1

3) Scroll down and click “View Advanced Settings”

Set Edge to use Google Search 2

4) Scroll down again and click “Change Search Engine”

Set Edge to use Google Search 3

5) Highlight the option of “Google Search (discovered) then click “Set as default”

Set Edge to use Google Search 4

6) You’ll now see Google set as default so all done!
